Thanks for publishing my photo, @CarbonatedTV. It was taken in February of this year (2017). I still remember being impressed at the diversity of people present, of different appearing ages and backgrounds. The desire for health as a vehicle to control one’s destiny and achieve life goals is universal.
The other thing to note is that 7 months later, this type of activity seems like the obvious thing to do, but then, the feeling or need didn’t seem as clear as it does today. This is where courage comes in. In the places where the future is born.
Activists rallied outside the homes of two GOP senators at the crack of dawn in hopes of garnering their support before this afternoon’s health care vote.
