Thanks (again) for using my photo to illustrate this great piece on the Hispanic population in the metropolitan area around DC, and in comparison to other major metros – from 2.5 % to 16 % today, an 11-fold increase.

The photo itself is of the annual Adams Morgan Day celebration, in Washington, DC, taken in 2014. Each year’s event reflects the issues of their time. Photographs from 2017 are below, enjoy.
