Thank you for publishing my photograph on your cover, @MetroWeekly, as part of a special “Return of Pride” issue.

The photograph was taken in Washington, DC (of course), during this year’s LGBTQ Pride events.

I have been fortunate to volunteer as a photographer for @CapitalPrideDC, and have been doing so unofficially, and now officially for 8 years now. Why? Because the human spirit is unstoppable and the images need to be captured.

Let the capital of the United States, with the highest percentage of LGBTQ residents in the country, shine a light onto the rest of the world, as it usually does.
