I’m choosing this photo from a series that I took, because it shows the impact of current events on some of our most vital institutions.

As it was said to me when I asked to come inside – “(This is) 154 years of African American History”

On Febraury 7, 1968, Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., give a speech titled, “In Search of a Sense of Direction.” here. Here’s the iconic photograph from that day.

President Barack Obama gave a speech here January 18, 2010, here are photos from that day.
