Thanks for publishing my photo @ggwash. It’s of renown Willard Street, NW, with the Washington Hilton in the background. One of its most famous residents was Charles Lindburgh. Many of its least famous residents were targeted as African Americans by police in multiple incidents in a pre-civil rights DC. Always where the future is born…

Critics say certain renters are abusing their rights enshrined in the Tenant Opportunity to Purchase Act (TOPA). Two DC bills this fall aim to reform TOPA, changing how it works for some tenants.
