Biography

Ted Eytan, MD MS MPH
Washington, DC, USA

Ted Eytan is a family physician living in Washington, DC. His clinical interests are preventive care and eliminating disparities in health status among vulnerable populations, including people who are LGBTQ and those with diabetes, obesity, and other forms of metabolic syndrome.

Ted attended medical school at the University of Arizona, received his master’s of public health degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and his master’s of science, health services degree from the University of Washington. He completed his residency training at Group Health Cooperative and his fellowship training in the Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholars Program at the University of Washington in 2000. He is board certified in family medicine. His prior experience includes physician leadership in digital engagement, health informatics and web services, and innovation within the US integrated health system Kaiser Permanente.

Ted does not have any financial interest or ties to, and have not received any honoraria, meals, or other consideration from food, pharmaceutical, diagnostics, or device manufacturers.
