These delicious brownies are low carbohydrate, vegan, and gluten free, baked in honor of National Brownie Day, 2021.
It’s worth noting that even though the recipe is vegan it is:
- No healthier than a recipe that contains animal sourced foods
- Not environmentally friendly due to the almond content (a single almond requires a gallon of water to produce)
- Not necessarily sparing of animal lives relative to a recipe containing animal sourced foods
