
Thank you for using my photograph on this post, @DCist, about restaurants that have closed since the coronavirus pandemic can hit.
I couldn’t imagine that this scene, in 2020, would bring us closer to what this street looked like in 1968, rather than farther from it.

Our lives can truly change overnight. Never get complacent.
Though the virus has devastated the restaurant industry, not all these businesses directly credit the pandemic for closing.
