Thanks for Publishing my Photo, in Campouts-Plus: Christianity Defines, Afflicts Boy Scouts (As is the case 100% of the time, #LoveAlwaysWins)

Thanks for using my photograph to adorn this essay, written by Rick Snedeker (@snedekrj).

The piece and the photograph caused me to go back in time, a different time for the BSA organization, in 2013, when the photos were taken, several cameras ago.

Then, this inscription on the memorial caught my eye:

I thought, “that’s not really a way to be a human in this century.”

And then I contrasted this memorial with a much more human one in New York City, which I wrote about here: Photo Friday: Comparing two monuments – Gay Liberation (NYC) and Boy Scouts (DC)

I still prefer the human one. And once again, ❤️ won.

The religious nature of Boy Scouts (soon to be renamed Scouts BSA) is more than meets the eye. Some Christians are trying to rectify its shortcomings.
