This week’s photograph is of historic Vermont, Avenue, NW, in Washington, DC (of course), following its annual renewal.

In this, the 50th year anniversary of the most important years in Washington’s history, new history is available for the first time, including this piece, thanks to the amazing @dc1968project:

This street has born the most important civil rights movements of our time, African American and LGBTQ, it deserves to be treated well.
