Thanks for publishing my photograph, @UrbanTurf_DC

It’s of the Carter G. Woodson National Historic Site (@WoodsonNHS), which I posted about here:

Photo Friday: Carter G. Woodson National Historic Site, Washington, DC USA – More leadership in a world that doesn’t want you to lead

This neighborhood, which housed so many people who shaped our country without appreciation and was targeted for demolition at one point, is now one of the most exclusive.

You never know where and when the future is going to be born. Often, it’s here. I highly recommend a tour of the Woodson National Historic Site which is now open to the public. It’s a great story of leadership in a world that doesn’t want you to lead, much less exist.

When you go, note within the all gender restroom, courtesy of the Naitonal Park Service. That’s the reminder that the world is learning to ❤️ better.

As the spring housing market gets rolling, UrbanTurf is taking a look at the neighborhoods around DC where homebuyers are likely to face the most competition.
