The gem in this display is the documentary film from 1971, “The People and the Police,” featuring a young Marion Barry, whose influence and charisma are clearly visible, and other blow your mind conversations, both horrifying and hopeful, between and among the police and the citizenry of 1968-1973 Washington, DC.
