This week’s photograph was taken at the iconic Hirshhorn Museum & Sculpture Garden (@Hirshhorn) in Washington, DC USA, in Brand New: Art and Commodity in the 1980s – Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden | Smithsonian, underneath the piece ACT UP (Gran Fury).

It’s wonderful, in this century, that

  • our generation survived the abuses of the century before this one
    • with the power to change everything
  • we are working to be the allies we always wanted to be

2018 will be my 6th Capital TransPride (@TransPrideDC) – Washington, DC has the highest percentage of LGBTQ and highest percentage of transgender people in the United States (5x higher than New York or California). All of these activities are opportunities to show conclusively that Visibility = Life.

#AsDCGoesSoGoesTheNation #ElementsOfUs #ElementsOfTheFuture @capitaltranspride @capitalpridedc #TransVisibility #EqualityEqualsHealth #DC #LGBTQ 😀️‍🌈 All we need is an actual #unicode emoji for the #transgender pride flag. #CTP18 Is May 19, 2018 (View on Flickr.com)

Isn’t Washington, DC, beautiful?
