The piece and the comments below it are worth a read if you’re interested in reducing health and life disparities. Washington, DC, still the best learning lab in the nation, and I enjoy what I learn from taking photos as much as I do taking them.

Government officials and project stakeholders frequently use similar language to describe very different realities. The goal of more affordable housing is a starting place. The next question — what kind of affordable housing — matters just as much.
