Photos: The Sweat of Their Face, National Portrait Gallery

It’s been awhile since I’ve been acquainted with the beautiful photography of Howard Hollem, who captured the people (women) working to save our country during World War II.

This photograph is part of a collection on display at National Portrait Gallery (@NPG) right now. I selectively captured the photographs of people working who are women, given the national conversations that are happening today (for ones specific to the medical profession, try hashtags #WallsDoTalk and #QuoteHer).
