Thanks for publishing my photo @DCist. As the article says and as we live in the most inclusive city in the world, monuments like this don’t seem compatible with this century (which we also love living in).

Fortunately we are surrounded by a selection of other monuments that celebrate a world learning to love better. I actually see them being created every day, every where I walk in Washington, DC. It’s why we came here.

More than half the city’s legislators have requested that NPS take down a memorial to Albert Pike that stands in Judiciary Square.
