Thanks to Knowledge Commons DC (@KnowledgeCommDC) for posting about their mural art walk, because I am a huge fan of Cory Stowers’ work as well as all of @murals_dc.

Why? Because I love Washington, DC and the way he celebrates it all over our city. I will now dutifully begin tagging my photos and giving him credit.

If you walk by it, you’ll notice that the tree is actually in front of it, obstructing the view, so what I did is a little editing to show the mural as I see it.

I show the before and after in this post, plus the history of this part of our country deemed “obsolete.”

Obsolete no more. Thanks, Cory and KCDC for bringing out the beauty of our most gorgeous capital city 🙂 .
