By many accounts and several studies, Washington, DC, is the most social city in the United States, which results in the future often being born here, and the continual renewal of some of our most nation’s precious assets.

This year we were joined by multiple generations and people from all over Washington, DC, who came with a desire to give back to the place that created us.

Once a year, Washington, DC residents get together to replant historic Vermont Avenue, Northwest, in the U Street Corridor. Vermont Avenue, Northwest was frequented by leaders including Abraham Lincoln, Martin Luther King, Jr., and the parents of the modern day LGBTQ rights movement.
