emcee duties at Light City U: Health Innovation – Something potentially amazing

Not me, Light City 🙂

Light City Baltimore (@LightCity) is the first large-scale, international light festival in the United States, homegrown right here in Baltimore. Light City will provide a backdrop for the celebration of ideas, ingenuity and creativity through art, music and innovation.

Kaiser Permanente is the presenting sponsor of the Health Innovation Conference (@LightCityU) and I was asked by my colleagues if I would emcee. I’ve actually never emceed a health innovation conference before; however, the answer to everything is yes.

And, the health innovation conference includes the favorite people I know and admire, Vivienne Ming, Phd (@NeuralTheory), Morgan Dixon, Co-Fonder of GirlTrek (@MorganTreks) and the changing the health trajectory of Baltimore, City Health Commissioner Leana Wen, MD (@DrLeanaWen). It also includes people I don’t yet know and will soon be admiring.

Because…. I love change, I’m not that smart, and my ideas aren’t that unique.

Oh, and Thomas Dolby!

See you there.
