Animation: Busiest Bikeshare station in Washington (and its total health sibling)

The numbers are in for 2015 – Station Domination: Our Top-10 Stations of 2015 – It’s Columbus Circle/Union Station.

The creator of the Union Station animation, Michael Schade (@mvs202), DC’s open transportation data diplomat (see @DCTechies), kindly created one for its sibling at 2nd Street and G, NE, in front of the Kaiser Permanente Center for Total Health (@KPTotalHealth), that has been happily sharing the load with its busy sibling since June 18, 2015:

As the original article states, there were 3.2 million bikeshare trips in 2015. These animations give us a look at the health of cities in ways we have never been able to before.
