I took this photograph when I ended up in the National Gallery of Art (@ngadc) on a mini-assignment, which was to post an image of art by Henry Matisse on my Facebook wall. I figured if I was going to post an image of his art, I might as well acquire the image by going to an actual piece, of which there are two on public display in our National Gallery.
If I can walk to it, I’ll do it, and you never know what you’ll find along the way, which is the best part. Enjoy.
