Photo Friday: My first cover of a medical journal, it’s of #TheWalkingGallery

Families, Systems, & Health® is a peer-reviewed, multidisciplinary journal that publishes clinical research, training, and theoretical contributions in the areas of families and health, with particular focus on collaborative family healthcare.

The journal is a publication of the American Psychological Association.

They recently asked for permission to use the photo, which was given (the answer to everything is yes, and all of my content is creative commons licensed). I’ll post when the issue is out.

When they asked what the title of the photo should be, I suggested:

“The Walking Gallery : patient advocates Mark Scrimshire and Kait Roe, photographed by Ted Eytan, MD, art by Regina Holliday; taken at Care Innovations Summit, Kaiser Permanente Center for Total Health, Washington, DC, USA”
