Less doctors e-mail their patients than priests who regularly e-mail their parishoners

From: Attention Medical Shoppers: What Health Care Can Learn from Walmart and Amazon — HBS Working Knowledge

Only 3 percent of American physicians regularly e-mail their patients, less, he (David Cutler) said, than the percentage of priests who regularly e-mail their parishioners.

I can’t find the reference for this data, if anyone knows where it is, please post in the comments. It’s an interesting statistic nonetheless.
