I agree with many of the comments Jack and Suzy Welch make – organizations do reward extroverted behavior. However, many people who we think are extroverts are really introverts at heart. They have developed key people skills and learned to adjust to the organizational culture of being "out there". Natural strengths they bring to the table such as preparation, reasoned reflection and listening are all components of strong leadership.
