I can’t let a week go by without celebrating the wonderment of public transportation here. Even if the fares just went up, it’s a great deal if you plot it as dollars per mile, and if you’re paying $4.00 per mile, that probably means you should have walked in the first place.
This photo is of the East Falls Church Metro, on one of the coldest days of the year yet. The photo does not quite capture the cold hands of the photographer, which are a distant memory anyway, as we head into 60 degree weather.
