Regina Holliday’s Medical Advocacy Blog: May The Force Be With Us

Regina Holliday’s Medical Advocacy Blog: May The Force Be With Us – I think the day will come when all of us will be lucky enough to be portrayed in art created by Regina Holliday (@reginaholliday). As the post discusses, there’s an upcoming social justice camp (@SocJustCampDC) in Washington, DC, (two, two, weekends, you can learn about here and here) and I’m going.

Why? Because at the recent HealthCampDC, as we, the people interested in all things health, technology, social media, etc, were discussing the great disparities in health status within our little district, we realized that we are not connected to understanding the life status of the people within our little district. We then realized that we are connected to it, it’s connected to us, all we have to do is ask, and people will teach. Being connected by oil on canvas in advance is something so impressive I hope other communities will be as fortunate to experience it in their work to help people. See you there.
