1Congratulations to Suzanne Geffen Mintz for helping to launch this site!
I met her in 2003 when the Pew Internet Project was looking into a study about caregivers and internet use. I admire her integrity, commitment, and vision found “the only national organization for all family caregivers, regardless of their loved one’s age or diagnosis.” That’s a key differentiator, I think, because there are orgs which specifically exclude parents of minors living with disability or disease. Yet those parents are a significant (and increasingly vocal, online) portion of family caregivers.
